In this module, we examined what constitutes quality distance learning. We saw that, at its core, the best practices of good teaching are the same regardless of the delivery method and learning environment. We explored the National Standards for Quality Online Learning to see how it aligned with the Danielson Framework. Even though quality instruction best practices are universal, we saw how certain elements are prioritized in the distance learning environment.

We also explored ways to find balance in personal and work time while teaching in a virtual school environment.
